Key Responsibilities
As an Associate – Controls Room Data Management, you will:
- Engage with Product Owners to gather and refine business and reporting metadata for onboarding.
- Review, analyze, and validate metadata in RDHP to ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Maintain business and technical lineage for attributes, ensuring traceability and consistency.
- Generate business glossary artifacts to support BCBS 239 regulatory requirements.
- Provide scorecards, metrics, and management reports on metadata management progress.
- Identify opportunities to automate metadata management processes using tools and scripting.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and data extracts using Databricks and SQL.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure timely escalation of issues.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Master’s degree in Business Management/Finance or Bachelor’s in Commerce/Accounts (or equivalent).
- 8+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in Data Management.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality, and data lineage.
- Familiarity with metadata management tools like RDHP and Jade Catalog.
- Experience in data structures, models, schemas, and taxonomies.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data transformation workflows.
- Strong SQL skills, with experience in Databricks or similar database platforms.
- Proficiency in Tableau/Alteryx and scripting knowledge in Python or Java to automate processes.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite.
