Responsibilities
As a PwC Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Consultant, you will:
- Develop and customize Dynamics 365 F&O / AX solutions based on client requirements.
- Build and maintain reports using SSRS and SQL query tuning.
- Implement data migration and system integration for D365 F&O projects.
- Configure and manage IT infrastructure and database management systems for Dynamics AX.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and fix performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and client IT teams for successful implementations.
- Deliver technical documentation, best practices, and project artifacts.
- Participate in large-scale ERP implementations (3–4 completed projects preferred).
- Plan, estimate, and organize delivery of solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers as part of the consulting team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–8 years of IT experience with at least 2 years in D365 F&O or AX 2012 R2/R3 development.
- Strong knowledge of:
- X++ and MorphX development
- Object-oriented programming and AX object model
- SQL programming, performance tuning, and workflows
- Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps
- Ability to estimate effort, design solutions, and deliver complex customizations.
- Good understanding of AX entities, integration frameworks, and AIF.
- Strong communication and client interaction skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O certification.
- Experience with Sure Step delivery methodology.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams in ERP implementations.
- MBA/advanced technical degree (preferred but not mandatory).
