Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end performance testing of web applications using JMeter on cloud-native platforms.
- Develop and maintain robust JMeter scripts for applications built with Angular, React, Java, Python, and .NET backends.
- Analyze production logs and metrics from Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics to identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable engineering recommendations.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate performance testing tools within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Tekton, CloudBuild, and GitHub Actions.
- Drive optimization efforts across software/hardware sizing, network, server configuration, and code for enhanced performance.
- Leverage AI and Prompt Engineering using LLM or APIs to automate performance testing workflows.
- Interpret cloud monitoring metrics on GCP, Azure, or AWS platforms and use containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) to streamline testing.
- Mentor and guide teams on performance best practices and innovative solutions to meet business SLAs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in performance engineering and testing using JMeter.
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
- Solid understanding of AI integration, especially with prompt engineering and LLM APIs.
- Experience with DevOps practices, integrating load test tools into automated pipelines.
- Proficient in production log analysis and interpreting client/server-side metrics.
- Deep knowledge of monitoring tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, or AWS.
- Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
