Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic studies to understand socio-economic conditions in mining-affected or target communities.
- Carry out participatory planning and need assessment exercises for district-level government programs.
- Evaluate projects submitted by various stakeholders for feasibility and prioritization.
- Collaborate across multiple departments to improve effectiveness of interventions.
- Facilitate the approval of Annual Action Plans with Executive Committees and Governing Boards.
- Monitor the implementation of approved projects through field visits and highlight potential delays or cost overruns.
- Promote community-based monitoring tools, such as social audits, to ensure project accountability.
- Undertake action research to develop better methods for project delivery.
- Demonstrate project impact through documentation, success stories, and lessons learned.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to support transformation initiatives.
