Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily process engineering support for QatarEnergy LNG facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Conduct plant surveillance under QGMS ASV L3 guidelines, prepare reports, issue recommendations, and escalate deviations as needed.
• Troubleshoot system and process inefficiencies and propose long-term optimization solutions.
• Support EMOCs, AIRs, and process engineering studies for assigned areas.
• Participate in FRA, RCFA, RS, HAZOP, HAZID, and other safety and reliability assessments.
• Provide shutdown planning and execution support for process-related activities.
• Respond to after-hours operations requests as part of the engineering call-out roster.
• Collaborate in daily operations meetings and SHE committee discussions, providing technical input to support operational decisions.
• Assist in preliminary process engineering design for project queries.
• Contribute to annual business plan assumptions by submitting accurate engineering data to the Corporate Planning department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Process/Chemical or related discipline preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of process engineering experience in an oil and gas operating environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of process surveillance, troubleshooting, and plant optimization.
• Familiarity with industry safety assessments such as HAZOP and HAZID.
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Commitment to maintaining operational safety and compliance.
