Key Responsibilities
As a Power BI Consultant, your role will focus on building intuitive dashboards and driving data-led business decisions:
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and visual reports.
- Create complex DAX queries for data modeling and calculations.
- Use Power Query for advanced data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Build scalable analytics tools that provide real-time operational insights.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to data connectivity, refresh failures, and visualization performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align dashboard outcomes to strategic KPIs.
- Assist with data pipeline optimization and data infrastructure support.
- Contribute to data governance, data quality improvement, and documentation.
Required Skills
To be successful in this Power BI job in Hyderabad, candidates should possess:
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop – dashboard development, data modeling, and publishing.
- Strong hands-on experience with DAX functions, Power Query (M Language), and data shaping techniques.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Excel, and performance optimization best practices.
- Experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, Azure).
