Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Planning Support & System Integration
- Collaborate globally across multiple time zones to support critical planning and transformation projects.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize system integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and various data warehouses.
- Use SQL expertise to manage data mappings, optimize queries, and ensure smooth data transfers.
- Facilitate accurate data flow by designing and maintaining components such as sheets, formulas, access rules, reports, and dashboards.
- Provide on-call support during peak business planning cycles to ensure system reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in planning tools, automation, and reporting functionalities.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field with a minimum GPA of 7.0.
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience as a Planning IT Analyst or similar role.
- Proficient in SQL with the ability to write complex queries including joins, subqueries, and aggregates.
- Experience with system integrations involving APIs, Snowflake, or other data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data models, data mapping, report generation, and dashboard design.
- Knowledge of backend REST API technologies and web services.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Workday Adaptive Planning or other Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools.
- Familiarity with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Understanding of API design, development, and integration.
- Skills in scripting languages such as Python and frameworks like Snowpark.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and application security concepts including authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO).
