Key Responsibilities
As a Planning Engineer in the Turnaround Section at ADNOC Gas, your role will include:
- Developing detailed turnaround maintenance schedules and work breakdown structures.
- Coordinating all planning aspects for offshore plant shutdowns and major maintenance events.
- Working closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors to gather job scope and resource requirements.
- Using Primavera P6 and SAP PM to generate, track, and optimize schedules.
- Identifying critical paths, resource constraints, and potential delays to ensure turnaround success.
- Preparing progress reports, dashboards, and post-turnaround analysis for continuous improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with ADNOC HSE, quality, and reliability standards during planning and execution.
Key Skills
- Expertise in turnaround and shutdown planning in offshore oil & gas environments.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, SAP PM, MS Project, and CMMS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance workflows, equipment, and offshore safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant planning experience in oil & gas maintenance turnarounds.
- Offshore or island-based plant experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with ADNOC planning procedures and offshore safety standards is an advantage.
