Key Responsibilities
As a Payroll Specialist at Halliburton, you will:
- Process and manage employee payrolls specific to the UAE market, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution.
- Gather and verify HR and payroll data for compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare internal reports and external payroll remittances, including tax filings in alignment with UAE labor and tax laws.
- Support medium to complex payroll projects, maintaining detailed and compliant documentation.
- Conduct payroll reconciliations, analyze discrepancies, and resolve payroll-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts for guidance on complex queries and payroll challenges.
- Provide clear communication and support to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
- Train and mentor junior team members to ensure quality and consistency.
- Participate actively in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance payroll operations.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of related payroll experience, preferably with UAE payroll processing.
- Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations applicable in the UAE.
- Excellent attention to detail with proven ability to maintain accurate payroll documentation.
- Effective communication skills to support team collaboration and employee interactions.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work under supervision and manage workload efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas or energy sector is an advantage.
- Familiarity with global payroll practices and compliance standards.
