Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete payroll cycle for Amazon employees across multiple Indian locations, ensuring accuracy and punctuality.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, tax laws, and internal controls related to payroll processing.
- Conduct regular payroll audits to verify tax computations and adherence to compliance requirements.
- Support payroll-related statutory audits and benefits administration.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize payroll processes and systems.
- Coordinate year-end payroll activities in collaboration with payroll service providers.
- Manage team workflow, address escalations proactively, delegate tasks, and drive employee engagement and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of payroll or finance experience, preferably in Indian payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, payroll regulations, and compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in using payroll data to influence business decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex workflows.
