Key Responsibilities
As a Payroll Representative at Halliburton, your day-to-day tasks will include:
Payroll Processing
- Execute end-to-end payroll activities including data collection, calculations, and disbursement.
- Process payrolls in compliance with internal policies and local labor laws.
HR & Tax Data Management
- Gather and validate HR and tax-related information.
- Ensure timely remittance of applicable wages and tax withholdings.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare payroll reports and support internal and external audits.
- Generate tax filings and maintain accurate records for compliance.
Issue Resolution & Analysis
- Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and employee queries.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and support periodic closing activities.
Internal Controls & Improvements
- Follow established process guidelines and document controls.
- Contribute to payroll process improvements and automation initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in payroll, finance, or accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with payroll tax laws, statutory reporting, and accounting systems.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under supervision and handle confidential information.
