🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Receive, pick, ship, and transact vehicle parts inventory to support efficient vehicle service operations.
- Accurately enter parts transactions and inventory data into the Dealer Management System (DMS) with meticulous attention to detail.
- Conduct parts order transactions, guiding customers through order summaries and status updates.
- Identify and escalate inbound packaging or shipping issues to internal teams and suppliers promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of time, materials, and expenses related to parts management.
- Communicate estimated parts shipping and arrival times, providing timely updates to customers.
- Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction with parts orders and service delivery.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service center.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively, organize workload, and meet critical deadlines.
🎯 Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or certificate in Automotive Technology or related field preferred; equivalent experience also accepted.
- Knowledge of automotive parts, tools, repair techniques, and vehicle servicing methods.
- Familiarity with dealer business processes and best practices in parts management.
- Proficiency in Dealer Management Systems (DMS), SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 1 to 3 years experience in the automotive industry, with 2 to 5 years in parts distribution or material service preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold Tesla’s high standards of integrity as a parts advisor.
