Key Responsibilities
As a QatarEnergy Operations Supervisor (Crude), you will:
- Supervise refinery and chemical plant process units to ensure continuous safe operations.
- Anticipate operational issues and take immediate corrective action to prevent production loss.
- Manage control room activities from the Central Control Building (CCB).
- Oversee field operations under challenging conditions including hot furnaces, noisy areas, and toxic gases.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Prepare reports and documentation using customized refinery software.
- Support turnaround, shutdown, and emergency activities as required.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to maintain smooth plant performance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of refinery operations experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Proficiency in report generation and refinery software applications.
- Excellent command of oral and written English.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Educational Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
