Key Responsibilities
⚓ Offshore Operations Management
- Oversee and manage all offshore production activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational integrity.
- Act as the senior authority on the offshore facility, managing cross-functional teams regardless of departmental affiliations.
🔥 Emergency Preparedness & Safety
- Serve as On-site Emergency Response Leader for all types of offshore incidents.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, risk management protocols, and safety drills.
🤝 Team Leadership & Coordination
- Provide leadership across all personnel on the offshore installation, including operations, maintenance, and contractors.
- Promote a safety-first culture and operational excellence through effective communication and decision-making.
🛠️ Operational Oversight
- Ensure continuous monitoring and control of offshore process systems.
- Supervise maintenance activities, performance evaluations, and daily production goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore oil & gas production.
- At least 5 years in a supervisory role within offshore process operations.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with proven on-site decision-making abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
Certifications & HSE Requirements
- T-BOSIET – Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training
- PTW Level 3 – Certified Permit to Work Authority
- HAZOP – Process Safety Management Certification
- Coxswain Certificate – Operation of TEMPSC (Totally Enclosed Motor Propelled Survival Craft)
- H2S/BA Training, First Aid, Incident Investigation Training
- Emergency Management Competency – Ability to lead emergency teams and manage major incidents offshore
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (relevant discipline) or equivalent qualification.
- Additional offshore leadership and safety training preferred.
