📋 Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Develop 3D and 2D CAD designs for mechanical components and assemblies.
- Create purchase specifications and communicate technical requirements to suppliers.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure documents meet technical and production standards.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
Cross-Functional Support
- Provide technical support to sales, procurement, production, and quality teams.
- Collaborate with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to ensure accurate specifications.
- Handle customer-driven design changes using HSRE ECM processes.
Performance & Quality
- Work independently while promoting collaboration and coordination across teams.
- Maintain methodical, precise, and efficient work practices.
- Strive for high-quality outputs and customer satisfaction beyond standard requirements.
🎯 Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in industrial or mechanical engineering.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD 3D & 2D modeling.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
