Key Responsibilities
- Rapidly develop a deep understanding of the target business, industry drivers, and market conditions.
- Interpret, analyze, and evaluate financial data, business plans, and public information related to the target company.
- Produce high-quality deliverables, including detailed Excel models and PowerPoint presentations, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Conduct thorough reviews of historical trading performance, cash flows, balance sheets, and financial projections.
- Identify and report key risks, price-impacting factors, and critical issues affecting transaction decisions.
- Lead and coordinate transaction diligence on various deals including IPOs, mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border transactions.
- Collaborate with diverse teams of 2 to 10 professionals across different geographies and industries.
- Serve intellectually stimulating clients including large multinationals, private equity investors, and owner-managed businesses.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members during engagements.
- Support potential opportunities for international assignments or secondments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in Financial Due Diligence (FDD) or Transaction Services, ideally with 4+ years in a managerial role.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and business plan evaluation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for financial reporting and presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively brief senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in cross-border, multicultural teams.
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CFA) preferred.
- Willingness to travel frequently within India and potentially internationally.
