Key Responsibilities

Compliance Reporting System

  • Own the compliance reporting process and ensure smooth operation at all times.
  • Maintain the Compliance Portal, free from IT issues and updated with regulatory and organizational changes.
  • Set SLAs for resolving technical and legal queries and achieve at least 90% adherence.
  • Convene statutory compliance meetings with stakeholders to review past actions, current issues, and establish corrective measures (CAPA).

Compliance Training

  • Identify training needs through compliance reports, internal audit findings, and stakeholder consultation.
  • Conduct compliance training sessions periodically to strengthen awareness and adherence across teams.

Data Protection & Privacy Compliance

  • Review agreements involving personal data sharing and collaborate with the Legal team to protect company interests.
  • Work with IT to implement controls on intranet and websites for compliance with notice and consent requirements.
  • Implement Personal Data Protection Policy in collaboration with Legal, IT, and Marketing teams.

Compliance Support for New Projects

  • Engage with project and business teams to understand project requirements and compliance expectations.
  • Identify applicable legal requirements and prepare detailed checklists, forms, manuals, authority details, and links.
  • Provide guidance and last-mile support for applications, permissions, and interactions with regulatory authorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in equity-listed companies or compliance consultancy for large manufacturing firms.
  • Strong understanding of statutory compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of data protection laws, internal audits, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, coordination, and training delivery skills.
  • Ability to lead compliance initiatives, resolve technical/legal queries, and provide project support efficiently.
