Key Responsibilities
As Manager – Scheduler at Siemens Mobility, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and structuring engineering and procurement project schedules.
- Creating schedules aligned with tender, bid, contractual documents, and internal guidelines.
- Consolidating detailed schedules into comprehensive master project timelines.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to harmonize schedules across departments.
- Performing schedule updates, variance analysis, and critical path assessments.
- Implementing risk management strategies to mitigate project delays.
- Conducting “what-if” scenario planning for schedule optimization.
- Preparing project-specific reports, including Milestone Trend Analysis, Customer Progress Reports, and S-Curves.
- Managing interdependencies with supplier and sub-supplier schedules.
- Reporting, escalation, and communication of scheduling issues and risks.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
- 8–10 years of experience in project scheduling, ideally in Rolling Stock / Mobility projects.
- Proficiency with Primavera EPPM P6; knowledge of MS Project or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and control methods.
- Familiarity with resource management techniques and scheduling analysis (e.g., Milestone Trend Analysis).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, moderation, and presentation skills.
- Team player with self-initiative and ability to work independently.
- Fluency in English (German language is an added advantage).
