📝 Role Overview

As a Manager – SAP PS at Deloitte, you will lead the design, configuration, and successful implementation of SAP Project System solutions tailored to complex power sector projects such as thermal plants, hydroelectric facilities, renewable energy sites, substations, and transmission lines. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and cross-functional groups to optimize project structures, budgeting, planning, and reporting—ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory standards.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP PS implementation projects with a focus on power and utilities sector requirements.
• Design and configure Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), network activities, milestones, budgeting, and settlements.
• Integrate SAP PS with modules including FICO, MM, SD, PM, and Investment Management (IM).
• Drive cost control, CAPEX project tracking, milestone billing, and investment management for large infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align project execution plans.
• Support S/4HANA migrations or system conversions related to SAP PS.
• Conduct end-user training sessions and develop comprehensive project documentation.
• Manage post-go-live support, audits, compliance checks, and reporting for regulatory adherence.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide thought leadership and guidance to junior consultants and project teams.

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP PS implementation, including at least 2 full lifecycle projects.
• Proven expertise in SAP Project System within the energy and power utilities domain.
• Strong knowledge of integration between SAP PS and FICO, MM, SD, PM, and Investment Management modules.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Ability and willingness to travel for client engagements as required.
• Experience in consulting or management roles preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
