Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects on S/4HANA systems, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Configure and customize SAP MM modules including Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, Price Determination, Subcontracting, and Stock Transfers.
• Integrate SAP MM with other modules like SAP SD and FI to streamline Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
• Analyze and transform “as-is” processes into optimized “to-be” workflows within SAP MM.
• Develop detailed Functional Specifications and configuration documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients in client-facing roles, leading logistics and SAP MM teams.
• Manage external system integration through IDocs, ALE, and interfaces.
• Oversee invoicing processes including external and intercompany invoicing.
• Prepare custom reports to support business needs and decision-making.
• Troubleshoot incidents, provide solutions, and ensure smooth SAP MM operations.
• Support power utilities projects, especially in the Indian market context.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum 9+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM).
• Proven track record with at least 3 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong expertise in SAP MM configuration and integration.
• Good understanding of P2P, O2C business processes and SAP SD fundamentals.
• Experience in client engagement and team leadership.
• Ability to write detailed functional specs and configuration documents.
• Familiarity with SAP Interface technology, IDocs, ALE, and invoicing processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident resolution skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in hybrid consulting environments.
• Willingness to travel as per project needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 to 11 years of experience in consulting or management roles.
• Prior experience in power utilities projects in India is a plus.
• Tech-savvy with an understanding of cloud environments and emerging SAP technologies.
