Key Responsibilities
As a Manager – SAP Commerce Developer (Hybris) at Deloitte, you will:
- Lead planning, architecture, customization, and configuration of SAP Hybris e-commerce solutions (B2C & B2B).
- Drive design, development, documentation, and implementation of SAP Commerce solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with strong root cause analysis (RCA) and debugging expertise.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of e-commerce applications.
- Design and maintain backend and frontend code following secure development guidelines.
- Manage system monitoring, support, and delivery functions in collaboration with QA, release management, and operations teams.
- Integrate with internal and third-party vendor systems (synchronous & asynchronous).
- Mentor teams and act as a subject matter expert in SAP Commerce development and architecture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years in SAP Commerce (Hybris) development, customization, and large-scale implementation.
- Expertise in Hybris CMS, eCommerce suite, and accelerators.
- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, web technologies (AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, XML).
- Experience with Endeca & SOLR search engines, Adobe AEM, WCMS.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, messaging services, caching (EhCache, Oracle Coherence).
- Familiarity with Hybris modules – Product Cockpit, Customer Service, OMS, WCMS.
- Integration with payment processors, CDN, social media, Google Analytics, Bazaarvoice.
- Hands-on with JIRA, Rally, Git, Confluence for project management and collaboration.
- Strong testing/debugging skills across unit, integration, system, and performance testing.
Good to Have:
- Experience with internationalization, personalization, and multi-site rollouts.
- Exposure to SEO optimization within SAP Commerce platforms.
