About the Role
As a SAP BW HANA Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP BW solutions on the HANA platform. You’ll leverage in-memory computing capabilities to deliver high-performance data solutions to Deloitte’s global clientele, particularly in fast-paced industries undergoing digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP BW on HANA architecture and models.
- Develop robust ETL processes to support business reporting and analytics.
- Optimize data flows and queries for high performance and scalability.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business users.
- Conduct performance tuning using SAP HANA Studio and SQL scripting.
- Ensure end-to-end quality assurance and testing for SAP BW solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in project planning and execution.
Core Skills & Technologies
- 9+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW and SAP HANA.
- Advanced knowledge of:
- SAP BW on HANA
- Native HANA modeling
- SQL and performance tuning
- SAP HANA Studio
- Strong understanding of SAP BW architecture and integration points.
- Proficiency in designing scalable and efficient data models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities.
- Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior consultants.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Commerce from a reputed institution.
- Prior consulting experience in large-scale SAP BW implementations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel for short- or long-term client engagements.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, or BW/4HANA is a plus.
