Key Responsibilities
As a Manager – Refining & Petrochemicals at Grant Thornton, you will:
- Drive business development and generate opportunities in the refining, petrochemicals, and chemicals sector
- Lead the execution of consulting engagements in Oil & Gas, Refining & Petrochemicals
- Supervise a team of analysts and consultants for high-quality project delivery
- Conduct commercial due diligence, market assessments, and supply-demand modeling
- Develop financial models, strategic business plans, and JV proposals
- Deliver presentations, sectoral research reports, and pricing strategies
- Optimize supply chains and refinery-petchem integration solutions
- Create and submit detailed client proposals and pitch decks
Required Skills & Competencies
- 6–10 years of experience in refining, petrochemicals, and chemicals sector
- Strong connects with Indian petrochemical and chemical industry players
- Ability to develop and drive new business opportunities
- Expertise in petrochemicals value chain, pricing strategies, supply-demand modeling
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Proven ability to mentor and lead a 3–4 member team
- Experience in financial modeling, corporate finance concepts, and sectoral research
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and client communication skills
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering + MBA
