Key Responsibilities
As a Technology Strategy Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development of IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation roadmaps
- Advising clients on IT operating models, sourcing strategies, and cloud adoption
- Designing and implementing technology transformation programs aligned with business goals
- Managing large-scale engagements and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Providing thought leadership on emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovation
- Engaging directly with C-level stakeholders, driving consensus, and influencing decisions
- Supporting pre-sales efforts, RFP responses, and proposal development
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members
Core Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of IT strategy frameworks, enterprise architecture (TOGAF/Zachman), and digital transformation
- Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS platforms, and emerging technologies
- Strong program management and client engagement capabilities
- Knowledge of industry-specific technology use cases (e.g., BFSI, Retail, Manufacturing)
- Exceptional problem-solving, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including experience creating C-suite level deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred)
- 8–12 years of experience in technology consulting, IT strategy, or CIO advisory
- Prior consulting experience with Big 4 firms or top-tier IT strategy firms
- Certifications such as TOGAF, PMP, or ITIL are a plus
