Summary

Mercer, a global leader in investment consulting and portfolio management, is seeking a Manager – Investments (Performance Reporting) to join its Gurugram office. This role is ideal for finance professionals with 7–8 years of experience in investment analysis, performance reporting, and institutional investing. As a key member of Mercer’s investments team, you will deliver accurate and insightful performance reports, drive process improvements, and mentor a team of analysts while contributing to pension fund and delegated solution client portfolios. Key Responsibilities

As a Manager – Investments at Mercer Gurugram, you will:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, and Delegated Solution clients.
• Analyze investment performance across asset classes and portfolio strategies.
• Collaborate with investment consultants, custodians, and stakeholders to gather and validate client-specific data.
• Review and guide senior analysts, process developers, and process champions.
• Produce quarterly manager commentary, assessing fund and investment strategy performance.
• Manage high-level deliverables, team ramp-ups, transitions, and client communications.
• Monitor SLAs, conduct one-on-one sessions, team meetings, and drive employee engagement activities.
• Mentor and guide analysts across processes, assisting with career planning and team development.
• Drive process improvements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring operational excellence.
• Maintain compliance with client and internal policies while delivering exceptional client experience.
• Provide training and coaching for new hires and team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 7–8 years of experience in investment consulting, performance reporting, or portfolio management.
• Graduate degree (B.Com, BBA) with Master’s in Finance/Accounting/Economics preferred; CFA/CIPM is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of global capital markets, asset classes, and investment strategies.
• Expertise in investment performance analysis, portfolio reporting, and attribution.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Bloomberg, InvestorForce, Morningstar, Lipper.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to quality tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and automation tools (VBA, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
