Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead multiple internal audit, process consulting, and risk consulting projects simultaneously.
- Supervise project teams, providing guidance and performance management.
- Ensure project profitability, quality, and adherence to timelines.
- Serve as the primary client contact and manage project risks.
- Travel to client locations within India and abroad as needed.
People Leadership
- Mentor, train, and coach junior staff.
- Manage team performance and development initiatives.
Business Development
- Support business development efforts, from lead generation to project closure.
- Identify opportunities for KPMG services and proactively contribute to sales-oriented reporting.
Thought Leadership
- Contribute to solution development and knowledge management initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and advisory service trends.
- Lead practice initiatives and participate in thought leadership programs.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in internal audit, risk consulting, or process consulting at project manager level.
- Strong domain knowledge in business processes and operational risks across multiple industry sectors.
- Prior client-facing experience and exposure to business development, proposals, and RFPs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Leadership ability and capability to work effectively in teams under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic IT systems.
- Willingness to travel extensively within India and abroad.
Qualifications
- CA with Big-4 articleship, or MBA from a top business school with 5+ years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk consulting, or operations.
- CA (non-Big4) / MBA (non top B-schools) with 6+ years or Graduates (BE/BTech/BCom/BBM) with 8+ years of experience in similar roles.
- CS / ICWA graduates with 7+ years of relevant experience.
