Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Manager – Foreign Payables/Receivables, you will:

  • Lead a team in managing international payables and receivables.
  • Drive reductions in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and control Days Payable Outstanding (DPO).
  • Manage foreign currency invoice payments and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand financial needs and resolve issues.
  • Ensure proper accounting treatment under FEMA and other compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize AR/AP processes using SAP and related tools.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports using Excel and Power BI.
  • Lead or support process improvement initiatives in finance operations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in collections, foreign payments, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of foreign currency payment processing, AR/AP cycles, and FEMA compliance.
  • Proficiency in SAP for financial entries and transactions.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
  • Background in services-based organizations (not goods exports/imports).
  • Experience working in commercial or corporate finance departments.
