Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a high-performing AP/AR team of approximately 15 finance professionals.
- Oversee daily operations ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and best practices for process improvements and enhanced controllership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external business partners to resolve complex escalations.
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, and career development for your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Act as a consultant on finance projects, supporting business growth through data-driven insights.
- Maintain compliance with Amazon’s standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to increase efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR).
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing teams in a finance or operations environment.
- Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or defect reduction techniques.
- Proven ability to use data analytics to influence business decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.
- Self-starter with strong business modeling and problem-solving skills.
