Key Responsibilities
As a Cyber Data Privacy Manager, you will:
- Lead data privacy and protection engagements across industries (BFSI, Technology, Healthcare, etc.)
- Design, implement, and evaluate privacy programs aligned with global regulations (GDPR, CCPA, DPDP Act, HIPAA)
- Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs), data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), and compliance gap analyses
- Provide advisory on cross-border data transfers, consent management, and lawful data processing
- Develop privacy frameworks, governance policies, and compliance roadmaps tailored to client needs
- Embed privacy-by-design principles in systems, processes, and product development lifecycles
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and legal teams to deliver integrated privacy strategies
- Lead executive presentations, client workshops, and staff training sessions on data protection
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice development and thought leadership
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in data privacy, data protection, or cybersecurity consulting
- In-depth knowledge of GDPR, DPDP, CCPA, HIPAA, ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework
- Strong expertise in PIAs, DPIAs, compliance gap assessments, and remediation plans
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related fields
- Familiarity with privacy tech platforms, data discovery tools, and consent management solutions
- Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, DPO Certification (preferred)
- Excellent client engagement, leadership, and communication skills
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing privacy engagements
