Key Responsibilities
As a Manager – Embedded C++ Developer at Deloitte Pune, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software systems using modern C++ standards (C++14+)
- Work extensively on POSIX-compliant operating systems, especially Linux and QNX platforms
- Implement software adhering to MISRA standards for safe and secure coding practices
- Lead and mentor junior developers and contribute to technical strategy and code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded solutions into larger systems
- Utilize Bazel build systems and explore Rust programming for enhanced software performance (preferred)
- Contribute to open-source projects and help drive innovation within the embedded systems domain
- Communicate effectively with global stakeholders in English; German language skills are an added advantage
Required Skills and Expertise
- Strong expertise in embedded C++ development, particularly with C++14 or later versions
- In-depth knowledge of POSIX operating systems, with hands-on experience in Linux or QNX
- Familiarity with MISRA standards and secure coding best practices
- Experience with build tools like Bazel and exposure to Rust programming is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; proficiency in German is highly desirable
- Proven leadership and project management abilities in embedded software teams
- Contribution to open-source embedded software projects is an advantage
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related fields
- At least 10 years of professional experience in embedded software development and C++ programming
