Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery
- Lead and participate in BCP/DR engagements across industries
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Risk Assessments (RA) to identify critical processes and threats
- Develop and document Business Continuity Plans, IT Disaster Recovery Plans, and Crisis Management Plans
- Implement BCM programs aligned with ISO 22301 standards
- Plan, execute, and report on BCP/DR exercises (tabletop exercises, simulations, technical DR tests)
- Deliver BCM awareness and training programs for clients
Project Management
- Manage workstreams within larger projects to ensure timely delivery and quality
- Prepare project deliverables, reports, and presentations
- Support senior team members in client relationship management and planning
Practice Development
- Contribute to methodologies, tools, and thought leadership within BCP/DR practice
- Support business development, including proposals and client presentations
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 4–6 years in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) or IT Disaster Recovery (DR), preferably in consulting
- Certification: ISO 22301 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor preferred
- Core BCM/DR Skills:
- BCP/DR lifecycle management: BIA, RA, strategy, plan development, testing, maintenance
- Developing and testing BCPs and DR plans
- Familiarity with BCM software tools (e.g., Fusion Risk Management, Assurance CM, Archer)
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for diverse audiences
- Client-Facing Skills: Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders
Preferred Skills
- Experience with IT DR technologies (replication, cloud-based DR, backups)
- Exposure to Banking, Financial Services, Manufacturing, or Technology clients
- Knowledge of Indian regulatory requirements (RBI, SEBI guidelines on BCP/DR)
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
