Roles & Responsibilities
Transactional Legal Advisory
- Provide strategic legal advice on transactional risk and transaction insurance solutions for M&A deals.
- Advise clients on deal structuring to achieve commercial objectives.
- Develop innovative solutions for transaction-related issues and coordinate their implementation with underwriters in global markets.
Project Management & Coordination
- Act as a key project manager for M&A transactions, coordinating multiple work streams, legal advisors, and stakeholders.
- Capture and communicate the value Aon brings to complex deals, even in challenging scenarios.
- Ensure delivery of market-leading service, legal guidance, and transactional solutions for all clients.
Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for transactional legal matters.
- Provide guidance and support on due diligence processes, warranties, indemnities, and relevant transaction documentation.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Commercially astute with solid legal acumen in M&A transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and meet client expectations.
- Familiarity with transaction documents such as sale and purchase agreements.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is required.
- Professional qualifications as Company Secretary or Chartered Accountant are an advantage.
- 2–5 years of professional experience at Tier 1 law firms handling M&A transactions.
- Knowledge of transactional insurance, warranties, indemnities, and deal structuring preferred.
