Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple IT audit and IT control assurance projects simultaneously, overseeing project execution, quality, and profitability.
- Develop engagement work programs, conduct risk assessments, and prepare audit documentation.
- Provide advisory support on IT risk, controls, and emerging technologies, including Cloud, Social Media, Intelligent Automation, DevSecOps.
- Ensure compliance with leading frameworks and standards such as COBIT, COSO, ITIL, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Mentor and manage junior team members, interns, and associates on audit engagements.
- Assist Partners/Directors in client relationship management, business development, and pre-sales activities (RFPs, proposals).
- Travel to client locations within India and internationally as required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong functional knowledge in enterprise IT governance, IT audit, and integrated audits.
- Hands-on experience with IT general controls, application controls, SOC1/SOC2 audits, third-party risk assurance, and IT regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of technology risks and emerging IT solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client management skills.
- Effective leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proven experience in IT audit, internal audit, risk consulting, or IT control assurance.
- Prior exposure to client-facing roles, project management, and business development in consulting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of business processes, IT systems, and risk frameworks across at least two industry sectors.
- Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, SAP/Oracle Security are highly desirable.
