Key Responsibilities
As an Inspection Engineer at ADNOC Gas – Ruwais, your duties will include:
- Planning, executing, and documenting inspection activities for static equipment, pipelines, pressure vessels, and tanks.
- Conducting and supervising NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods including UT, RT, PT, MT, and VT.
- Reviewing inspection reports and recommending repair methods or fitness-for-service evaluations.
- Ensuring all inspections comply with ADNOC procedures, API, ASME, ISO, and international engineering standards.
- Coordinating with operations, maintenance, and HSE teams for shutdown and turnaround inspections.
- Managing inspection data using CMMS and preparing comprehensive asset integrity reports.
- Supporting Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programs.
Key Skills
- Proficiency in multiple NDT techniques (UT, RT, MT, PT, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of inspection standards such as API 510, 570, 653; ASME Sec VIII; and ISO 9712.
- Ability to analyze inspection results and recommend maintenance or replacement actions.
- Experience using CMMS platforms and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inspection and integrity engineering in oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
- Valid NDT certifications (UT, PT, MT, RT) and API certifications (API 510/570/653) are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ADNOC operational and safety standards is preferred.
- Previous experience working on onshore or refinery facilities is an advantage.
