💼 Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Infrastructure Architect, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements in the Cards & Payments domain.
- Developing robust automation scripts using PowerShell, Ansible, and Linux shell scripting.
- Overseeing the deployment and maintenance of automation across enterprise systems.
- Collaborating with DevOps, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure.
- Monitoring infrastructure performance and availability, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including processes and architecture diagrams.
- Conducting infrastructure audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments.
- Leading root cause analysis and resolving complex infrastructure issues.
- Implementing cybersecurity protocols to secure cloud and on-prem environments.
- Participating in capacity planning and forecasting infrastructure requirements.
- Providing mentorship to junior engineers and helping scale their technical proficiency.
- Ensuring that infrastructure projects are completed on time and within budget.
🛠️ Required Skills & Tools
- Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management.
- Strong command over Linux Shell Scripting for Unix-based environments.
- Advanced proficiency with Ansible for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Deep understanding of networking, storage, security protocols, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with infrastructure in Retail Banking, especially in the Cards & Payments sector.
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment with global teams.
🎓 Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
