Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Advanced Packaging within semiconductor and electronics product engineering.
- Lead semiconductor product engineering and development initiatives in OSAT and EMS environments.
- Advise on semiconductor manufacturing execution systems (MES) integration, including FactoryWorks, OpsCenter, Critical Manufacturing, and SiView.
- Conduct design validation and foundry fabrication process assessments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IBM Consulting teams, external clients, and stakeholders to drive technical solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Support semiconductor manufacturing digital transformation strategies.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and best practices for semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or related fields (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in semiconductor or electronics product engineering and development.
- Proven expertise in outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) processes, data requirements, and B2B-SCM-MES integration.
- Hands-on experience in semiconductor MES Systems like FactoryWorks, OpsCenter, Critical Manufacturing, or SiView.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor assembly/test process flows and design validation.
- Experience in Foundry Fabrication and discrete manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information for broad audiences.
Preferred Technical Expertise
- Semiconductor Industry SME with deep understanding of OSAT/EMS environments.
- Discrete Manufacturing (PP) domain knowledge is a plus.
- Proven success in implementing digital transformation in semiconductor production environments.
- Advanced data analytics and modeling skills for semiconductor manufacturing optimization.
