Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize HSSE dashboards to track safety and environmental KPIs for Shell assets.
- Conduct data validation and ensure accuracy in safety and environmental reporting.
- Support development of HSSE metrics aligned with business goals and compliance standards.
- Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly safety and environmental performance reports for leadership.
- Manage annual target setting and benchmarking against global standards such as GBG and IOGP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve digital reporting systems and processes.
- Train colleagues on HSSE data tools including Power BI, Sphera Cloud, and Business Objects.
- Represent HSSE data insights in site meetings and contribute as a subject matter expert during reporting cycles.
- Drive continuous improvement using lean methodologies in HSSE reporting workflows.
- Liaise with IT teams as a business representative to implement dashboard and reporting enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or postgraduate qualification in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSSE reporting, data analysis, or operational safety roles.
- Expertise in Power BI and other data visualization tools for developing actionable dashboards.
- Strong knowledge of HSSE frameworks, especially Shell’s SEAM standard and SP Control Framework Manual.
- Hands-on experience with digital platforms like Sphera Cloud, Business Objects, DAP, PMR, and FIM.
- Solid understanding of Process Safety, Technical Safety, and environmental sustainability metrics.
- Familiarity with safety benchmarking standards (GBG, IOGP) and target setting procedures.
- Proven ability to handle large datasets with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, training, and team collaboration skills.
- Experience working in oil & gas or manufacturing sectors preferred.
- Knowledge of lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to independently manage tasks and solve complex data issues using established protocols.
