Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison with Dukhan Operating Departments for Mechanical Change Management (MoC) projects.
- Manage the complete project lifecycle: front-end engineering design, tendering, contract award, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop, review, and approve technical specifications for mechanical static and piping equipment.
- Ensure integrity, reliability, and performance efficiency of mechanical systems within the facility.
- Lead specification, tender, installation, maintenance, and commissioning of mechanical project contracts.
- Oversee project management activities including planning, execution, administration, and reporting.
- Mentor and motivate engineering teams, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 15 years in design/consulting focused on static and minor rotating equipment (R/E).
- At least 7 years’ experience in maintenance and commissioning of static plant equipment in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors.
- Proven track record in senior or lead mechanical engineering roles.
- Strong project management skills; PMP or IPMA certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and motivational capabilities.
- Proficient with SAP, document management, and mainstream office software.
- Membership in a recognized professional engineering body is preferred.
- Completed specialized training in mechanical engineering and project management.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
