Responsibilities
As the Global Product Owner Senior Manager – Consolidations & Enterprise Structure at BCG, you will:
- Lead Financial Systems Ownership: Oversee BCG’s global accounting processes including intercompany transactions, global allocations, and consolidated financial reporting.
- Drive SAP S/4HANA Transformation: Manage enterprise reporting hierarchies and compliance with US GAAP and local statutory standards.
- Collaborate Globally: Partner with global accounting teams and finance professionals across 60+ markets.
- Innovate with Technology: Implement automation, SAP enhancements, and emerging technologies like generative AI for finance systems.
- Product Roadmap & Backlog Management: Translate finance needs into product strategies, prioritize features, and deliver incremental value via Agile sprints.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the voice of internal clients, aligning with business priorities, building business cases, and ensuring measurable outcomes.
- Mentor & Guide Squads: Lead cross-functional squads, ensuring alignment with BCG’s product portfolio vision.
Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting (required).
- Professional certification preferred (CPA, CA, or equivalent).
Experience
- 8+ years in finance, global accounting, or financial systems leadership.
- Demonstrated success as a Product Owner in a finance transformation context.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA ERP.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and squad-based delivery.
