Responsibilities
- Execute highly skilled maintenance, repair, and overhaul of rotary equipment such as pumps (single & multistage), steam and gas turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, and turbo machinery.
- Perform minor and routine maintenance on static equipment within QatarEnergy’s refinery units and associated facilities including Berth#6, Tank Farm, BSV3, and Hamad International Airport Station C1.
- Prepare and manage work permits using the RIS system, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure continuous and reliable operation of refinery mechanical systems.
- Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office applications for maintenance tracking, reporting, and documentation.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience working with mechanical rotary equipment in refinery, oil & gas, or petrochemical plants.
- Extensive knowledge of pumps, steam/gas turbines, compressors, and turbo machinery.
- Proficient in English communication (both oral and written) with at least level 5 proficiency.
- Experience using RIS or similar permit systems.
- Skilled in SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a multinational and safety-conscious work environment.
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Technology from an accredited technical institution.
