Role Overview
As an EYP Senior – Strategy, you will provide strategic insights, financial assessments, and operational recommendations for metals & mining clients. You will lead project planning, data analysis, financial modeling, and client deliverables, ensuring high-quality insights and actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic market and financial assessments, including commercial due diligence, growth strategy, and market entry strategy for metals & mining clients.
- Plan, scope, and coordinate multiple projects, including data collection, analysis, stakeholder coordination, and business writing.
- Perform financial modeling for feasibility studies, go-to-market strategies, and Information Memoranda.
- Develop storyboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
- Recommend strategic alternatives through primary and secondary research, evaluating opportunities and financial situations.
- Travel onshore as needed to deliver projects with engagement teams.
- Ensure project execution excellence, including problem-solving, facilitation, and timely reporting.
- Identify and build new business opportunities while adhering to process compliance.
Candidate Profile
- 4–8 years of business analysis, consulting, and client management experience.
- Strong experience with due diligence, feasibility studies, strategic market assessment, Information Memoranda, go-to-market strategies, operating model design, benchmarking analysis, and M&A advisory.
- Deep knowledge of the metals & mining sector value chain.
- Strong financial analysis skills, linking operational insights to P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets.
- Ability to create financial models for feasibility studies and market strategies.
- Excellent communication, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of reference sources like OneSource, Factiva, ThomsonOne, Reuters, Mergermarket, CapitalIQ.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports, market and industry data, technical and trade documents.
- Strong report writing, negotiation, and influencing skills.
