About the Role

As a Lead Business Intelligence Engineer (Snowflake Senior), you will work within the Enterprise Data & Corporate Technology (EDCT) function—specifically the Claw Team—to maintain and enhance EY’s global business intelligence platforms. You’ll lead engineering projects, oversee production environments, and support firm-wide data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BI engineering projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Develop and manage data pipelines using Talend, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Provide technical and operational support for BI tools and users.
• Implement risk management practices, including vulnerability reconciliation and audit compliance.
• Perform administrative tasks such as documentation, tool configuration, and service request management.
• Offer 24×7 on-call Level 3 support on a rotational basis.
• Conduct user training sessions to enhance data awareness.
• Manage incident, problem, and change processes following ITIL standards.
• Continuously improve performance tuning, dashboard optimization, and data workflows.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, SQL, and Talend.
• Experience managing data warehouses throughout their full lifecycle — from planning to decommissioning.
• Proven ability to manage distributed and offshore teams.
• Strong understanding of star and snowflake schema designs.
• Familiarity with Power BI, PowerShell, Autosys, and Unix/Windows environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
