Role Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist – Generative AI, you will design, build, and deploy AI models, NLP pipelines, and generative AI systems to solve enterprise-level challenges. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and software teams to deliver scalable, ethical, and high-performance AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI and Generative AI solutions using LLMs, NLP, and deep learning.
• Develop and optimize AI models and pipelines leveraging frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI GPT models, APIs, and other pre-trained frameworks for advanced AI capabilities.
• Conduct research on LLMs, transfer learning, and model optimization to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Work with vector and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB, etc.) for efficient data handling.
• Implement similarity search algorithms for generative AI applications.
• Collaborate with domain experts to tailor AI solutions to business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, ethical AI, and security standards.
• Lead data engineering tasks – data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
• Build end-to-end MLOps pipelines for AI deployment and monitoring.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
• Experience: 3–7 years in Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Transformers.
• Deep understanding of NLP, LLMs, and Generative AI models like GPT, BERT, and Stable Diffusion.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and DevOps/MLOps practices.
• Experience with data curation, cleansing, and feature engineering.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional, global teams.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience in optimization techniques (MIP).
• Experience applying Trusted AI principles – fairness, transparency, and accountability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
