Summary

EY is hiring a FAAS Senior Manager – Record to Report (R2R) in Kochi for professionals with 7-12 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and entity-level accounting under IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP. In this role, you will lead a team of 6-10 professionals, manage end-to-end record-to-report processes, and deliver high-quality assurance services across Americas and EMEIA clients. This opportunity allows you to work with SAP, SAC, FloQast, Concur, Ariba, and FIS, applying your technical accounting expertise while contributing to EY’s mission of building a better working world.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books and financial consolidation.
• Process journal entries, allocations, period-end adjustments, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Handle fixed assets accounting, including capital project tracking, depreciation, and enhancements.
• Perform variance analysis, analytical reviews, and reporting to management.

Team & Project Leadership

• Manage a team of 6-10 members, overseeing engagement PMO activities and quality review of deliverables.
• Build and maintain SOPs, training materials, and documentation for team operations.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and structured learning paths for team members.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain effective coordination with multiple stakeholders across Americas and EMEIA clients.
• Ensure compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and escalation protocols.
• Support Senior Managers in business development and client relationship management.

Technical Excellence

• Apply in-depth knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, lease accounting, and technical accounting research.
• Provide technical guidance using ERP and finance systems such as SAP S4/Hana, SAC, FloQast, Concur, Ariba, and FIS.
• Stay updated with professional standards, regulations, and emerging technologies.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong accounting, analytical, and technical skills.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality client service.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and familiarity with data analytics/visualization tools is a plus.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice.

Qualifications

• CA, ACCA (UK), CPA, or MBA from a reputed institute.
• 7-12 years of relevant experience in entity/BU reporting, R2R processes, and MIS reporting.
• Experience in financial statement close process support and consolidation.
• Knowledge of SAP S4/Hana public or private cloud is preferred.
