The Investigations & Compliance team works across industries to:

Key Responsibilities

As a Consultant in Forensics – Investigations & Compliance, you will:

• Assist in conducting investigations into fraud, financial irregularities, and compliance breaches.
• Support in forensic data analysis, review of documents, and evidence collection.
• Prepare detailed forensic reports and presentations for clients and management.
• Assist in developing anti-fraud frameworks and compliance risk assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on litigation support and regulatory reviews.
• Ensure project documentation and reporting align with EY’s standards and methodologies.
• Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality throughout all engagements.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Sound understanding of forensic accounting principles and investigative methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and report-writing skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 1–4 years of experience in forensic investigations, compliance reviews, internal audit, or risk consulting.
• Preferred Background: Exposure to fraud risk management, compliance assessments, or regulatory investigations will be an advantage.
