Summary

Join EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) as a Senior in Extended Assurance based in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in System and Organization Controls (SOC) reporting, internal audits, and control testing. You will lead engagements, provide high-quality assurance deliverables, and collaborate with global client-serving assurance teams while managing operational aspects of engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOC engagements, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering high-quality reports.
• Conduct process walkthroughs and control testing, documenting findings and assessing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with EY Onshore and Global teams to provide control optimization recommendations and risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SOC reporting standards, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.
• Manage engagement operations, allocating resources, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Leverage EY tools and Global Audit Methodology (GAM) to enhance review efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor, coach, and supervise team members, conduct performance reviews, and foster a positive work culture.
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement scope and standardize review processes across aligned projects.

Requirements

• Qualification:
  • Chartered Accountant (ICAI) or Articleship experience with Big Four/mid-tier accounting firms
  • ACCA / CPA with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Non-qualified (B.Com) with 3+ years of relevant assurance experience
• Experience:
  • Exposure to SOC reporting and internal audits preferred
  • Experience in external or assurance reviews in MNCs or Shared Service environments
• Skills:
  • Knowledge of assurance standards
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Strong project management, leadership, coaching, and supervisory skills
  • Logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Power BI
