Summary
Join EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) as an ITGC Senior in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for professionals with 3–6 years of hands-on IT Audit, Risk Assurance, and Technology Risk experience. You will contribute to IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Automated Controls, SOCR (SSAE 16/ISAE 3402) reporting, and technology risk assessments for clients across industries.
As part of EY’s FS Technology Risk team, you will lead IT audit engagements, mentor junior staff, and support clients in managing IT risks, controls, and compliance frameworks, including SOX and J-SOX.

About the Role
The ITGC Senior will execute internal and external IT audits, assess IT risk and controls, and produce high-quality audit reports. You will perform walkthroughs, review control evidence, and work closely with clients and onshore teams to identify risks, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance.
You will also coach junior staff, foster a learning culture, and contribute to EY’s technology risk offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute IT Audit and Risk Assurance engagements.
- Perform client walkthroughs, assess IT processes, and identify key risks.
- Review and document audit evidence; draft control and risk assessment reports.
- Plan team schedules, allocate tasks, and ensure timely delivery of quality outputs.
- Develop and maintain productive client and stakeholder relationships.
- Mentor junior staff, provide performance feedback, and support skill development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.E./B.Tech (Computers, Electronics, Data Analytics), BCA/MCA, B.Sc/M.Sc. (Computers), MBA, or CA.
- Experience: 3–6 years in IT audits, ITGC, IT Automated Controls, and SOCR/SOC 1,2,3 reporting.
- Technical Knowledge: Windows, Unix, DB2, AS400, SAP R3 ECC/HANA, Mainframe, SQL, Oracle.
- Tools: MS Word, Excel, Access; data analytics/automation tools like SQL, Blue Prism, PowerBI, Monarch, Alteryx.
- Certifications (Nice to Have): CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001, Data Privacy certifications.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, independent security configuration review, and client management.
- Languages: German/Dutch/French is an advantage.
