Key Responsibilities
- Report and analyze software installations versus licenses to ensure compliance.
- Manage license renewals, maintenance, and support contracts before expiration.
- Perform root cause analysis on performance issues and identify process improvements.
- Collaborate with EY teams to ensure quality improvements and process enhancements.
- Work under supervision while demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
- Present findings and insights to SAM leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor associate-level team members where required.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong knowledge of Hardware and Software Asset Management processes.
- Hands-on experience with asset management and discovery tools.
- Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced) for reporting and analysis.
- Good knowledge of Change Management and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
- Experience working in virtual environments with global teams.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB preferred.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Minimum 2-year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- 2–3 years of Software Asset Management (SAM) experience.
- Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
- Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM).
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM).
