Key Responsibilities
Audit Planning & Preparation
- Assist the Audit Manager in developing and executing the Annual Audit Plan.
- Collect and analyze information and documents for the Audit Planning Memorandum (APM).
- Engage with auditees to finalize audit schedules and explain scope and objectives.
- Understand and document business processes, identifying inherent risks and controls.
Fieldwork & Risk Assessment
- Develop risk-based test plans, selecting audit approaches, test procedures, and sampling criteria.
- Evaluate process design and control effectiveness to ensure business objectives are met.
- Identify and document control weaknesses and process inefficiencies.
- Propose practical, value-added recommendations to enhance control and operational efficiency.
- Maintain organized and referenced work papers for managerial review.
Reporting & Communication
- Assist in preparing concise and informative audit reports for auditees and senior management.
- Present major observations to the auditee hierarchy or Audit Committee.
- Provide guidance and support to external auditors during audits, ensuring completion as per schedule.
- Offer value-added advice on policies, procedures, processes, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Experience in internal audits, risk management, and corporate governance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to evaluate control environments and suggest actionable improvements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
