Key Responsibilities
As an Equipment & Logistic Supervisor – Drilling Operations at QatarEnergy, your responsibilities include:
🔧 Equipment Planning & Coordination
- Program and coordinate the timely ordering and delivery of drilling and completion equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is on-site when required by the drilling or workover rig schedule.
📦 Material & Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels, audit stock records, and maintain accurate material specifications.
- Review and issue call-off orders and ensure documentation accuracy.
🛠 Vendor & Service Provider Liaison
- Collaborate with equipment vendors, material suppliers, and service companies.
- Ensure third-party providers comply with QatarEnergy standards and delivery timelines.
📋 Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain up-to-date records of material usage, audits, and equipment logistics planning.
- Ensure all logistics activities follow HSE and procurement protocols.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in drilling operations, preferably within:
- An operating oil & gas company
- A drilling service provider
- A major equipment/material vendor
- High attention to detail in:
- Call-off orders
- Material tracking
- Inventory audits
- Strong coordination and time management skills.
- Proficiency in logistics systems and tools (SAP knowledge is a plus).
Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (required).
- Additional training or certifications related to drilling equipment, materials, or logistics are highly preferred.
